Chicago Wolves Sign Yanick Turcotte To PTO

The Chicago Wolves have signed forward Yanick Turcotte to a professional try-out, it was announced Friday.

Turcotte, who began the season with the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets, has collected two goals and one assist for three points in 22 games. A product of Ste-Brigitte-de-Laval, Que., Turcotte has also collected 109 penalty minutes.

Having turned pro in 2017, Turcotte has spent the majority of his pro career playing in the ECHL, suiting up for the Komets, Worcester Railers, South Carolina Stingrays, and the Adirondack Thunder. He has also appeared in eight career AHL games, although he has not registered a point.

With Turcotte having already appeared in one game for the Wolves on Dec. 18, he will once again have the opportunity to suit up for the team. A physical presence who doesn't shy away from going to the dirty areas, Turcotte will provide an extra boost to the bottom six.
