Astrit martinez reports on the destruction. >> A funnel cloud tore apart homes, businesses, and vehicles. This person hit in a cooler with his neighbors at a mobile home park north of dallas. >> I grabbed my dog. We headed for there. And it just -- the -- it was just unbelievable, the sound of all the destruction going on around us. >> Reporter: everyone survived, as did dozens of others who packed into a bathroom at a truck stop in valleyview that's now torn apart. Hope you all had a great weekend. I start with the upper levels of the atmosphere. It dictates what's happening close to be the surface. The jet extreme is pushing into B.C. that's the storm track. Weather wet is on the way. Quiter weather, at least warmer into southbound, saskatchewan, manitoba over the next couple of days, and the great stream over the great lakes, into the maritimes, signifying unsettled weather, after a relatively dry weekend, although there were thunderstorms, and this is pushing throw, bringing showers and thunderstorms. That's the situation in tuesday across the maritimes, but we're dealing with it around the gta, southwestern quebec, and still some showers moving in by the afternoon around southern ontario. We'll look at some steadier rain moving in on tuesday across the maritimes. And that will start to clear as we move into wednesday for most areas. Let's take a look at the west. Yeah, relatively quiet,er although still some showers, and still cooler than average through B.C. at least, which has been favourable for the wild fire situation in that province. Special air quality statement north of B.C. in towards the northwest territories for smoke from wild fires, and as we take a look at the future cast, you can see quiet through edmonton, calgary, saskatoon,er regina, some cloud cover in winnipeg, but the unsettled weather continues through the B.C. interior, through british columbia, and through the south coast of B.C. as well, around vancouver and victoria. Breezy southerly winds, you can see that around saskatchewan come midweek. 16° with the chance of showers in vancouver today. 22 in kelowna, heading towards edmonton and calgary, into the low 20s,er 20 in calgary, 22 in edmonton. 21 in regina, 22 in saskatoon. The potential for some showers around winnipeg, with a high of 17°. As we head further east, unsettled at times, showers, thunderstorms, temperatures reaching 22, 23° around toronto to feel into the high 20s, though. When you factor in humidex, that will be the coast across southern ontario, into southwestern quebec. A humid feel to the atmosphere, it will be unsettled at times,
