Chelsea's Kerr and Fishel named in training squad
Chelsea strikers Sam Kerr and Mia Fishel will travel with the squad for a winter training camp in Portugal to continue their recoveries from injury.
Australia international Kerr, 31, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in January 2024 and has not featured for more than a year.
Last month, Chelsea manager Sonia Bompastor said Kerr was not expected to return until February or March.
United States striker Fishel, 23, suffered the same injury while training with the national team in February 2024.
Both players will travel to Portugal but will not train with the squad, instead continuing with their own recovery.
England international Lauren James, who has been out with a calf injury since October, is also named in the travelling squad and is close to a return.
Chelsea currently sit six points clear at the top of the Women's Super League table and have reached the quarter-finals of the Women's Champions League.
