Chelsea v Bayern Munich: ‘Don’t expect too much from Alvaro Morata’s debut as he adjusts to 15-hour time difference’

Chelsea take on Bayern Munich this afternoon in Singapore, where Alvaro Morata is set to make his debut for the Blues.

The club’s record signing took part in training for the first time since his move from Real Madrid after he flew out to Singapore at the weekend, but is only expected to come on as a second half substitute.

Standard Sport’s Simon Johnson will be there, and speaking to us ahead of the match, he has had his say on Chelsea’s record signing.

And, having travelled from New York to Singapore via London, the Spain international has had to adjust to a 15-hour time difference within the past 48 hours.
