The Ligue 1 race early into the 2024-25 season could be a three-horse race with Paris Saint-Germain currently in first place with 12 points. However, Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco are right behind them, each with 10 points.

Nonetheless, Marseille probably foresee a three-team race for the league title. As a result, they might be plotting a significant move during the January transfer window that can help them stay with PSG and Monaco.

Since Roberto De Zerbi’s arrival, the manager has looked at various players who have played in England to bring aboard this project. With the race being close, the manager is reportedly looking to bolster the attack.

OM are looking at Chelsea forward?

TEAMTalk reports that Chelsea are looking to offload several fringe players in January. Furthermore, £88 million winger Mykhailo Mudryk might be among those on the way out.

The other names, Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, and Ben Chilwell, could also be sold during the winter transfer window.

Moreover, the report also reports that Chelsea are open to letting Mudryk leave the club in January, with Marseille interested in the 23-year-old.

PSG have shown at times in Ligue 1 that they can be beaten but have overcome challenging situations such as coming from behind last weekend against Stade Brestois after trailing 1-0. OM and Monaco could look to make moves in January to give the Parisians a run for their money.
