Chelsea, PSG Poised to Challenge Liverpool for £100M-Rated Brighton Star

Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to various attacking players heading into the January transfer window. Moreover, a new name is emerging in the transfer rumor mill.

In October, Fichajes reported that three European giants—Arsenal, Manchester United, and PSG—are keeping an eye on Rafael Leão.

Although the Portuguese forward is under contract with AC Milan until 2028 and has a €175 million release clause, the Italian club could be open to negotiating his transfer for around €120 million.

Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga last summer saw Chelsea and PSG both showing strong interest in the Nigerian striker. After his potential move from Napoli fell through, the 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on loan, where he has been in exceptional form.

Transfer expert Graeme Bailey reports that Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and PSG are all interested in João Pedro. Brighton are asking for nearly £100 million to part ways with the forward, but they have no intention of letting him go anytime soon.

Pedro is under contract until 2028, so the Seagulls have leverage in any transfer talks with any interested club. This season, the Brazilian has played nine total appearances, scoring four goals and recording three assists.
