Chelsea confirm pre-season games ahead of 2024-25 season

Chelsea have announced their pre-season games as they start preparations for the 2024-25 season.

The Blues will travel to the United States to play five fixtures in five different venues. Football fans can gather all the information about all Premier League pre-season fixtures.

They will begin their campaign by taking on Wrexham at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Wednesday, July 25.

Their next friendly is scheduled against Celtic on July 27 at Notre Dame Stadium before they face Club America at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on August 1.

Ohio Stadium in Columbus will be the venue for Chelsea’s blockbuster clash with Manchester City on August 3.

Their final pre-season fixture is against Real Madrid on Tuesday, August 6, at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.

The Blues mutually parted company with Mauricio Pochettino in May after a largely underwhelming 2023-24 campaign saw them finish sixth in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca, who led Leicester City to the Championship title, is now in charge at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian manager is relatively inexperienced but his attractive style of football appealed to the club.

Maresca now faces the challenging task of getting his side into the Champions League.
