Cheer on Team USA at Trackside’s Olympic watch party with beer, giveaways and more

Kulshan Brewing Co. and The Port of Bellingham are hosting an Olympic soccer watch party, including meet and greets with professional soccer players, giveaways, food, drinks and a giant video wall.

Kulshan Trackside beer garden will broadcast team USA’s women’s soccer game against Germany at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, July 28.

“Show your support by wearing red, white and blue. US flags and face paint strongly encouraged. Fun for all ages,” a port news release states.

The free event includes FIFA merchandise giveaways to the first 100 people and free raffle tickets for a prize at halftime.

During the event, attendees can also meet Seattle Sounders soccer player Taylor Graham, who now works as the team’s chief revenue and marketing officer, and Temryss Xeli’tia Lane, a professional soccer player from the Golden Eagle Clan of Lummi Nation.

Food trucks, Kulshan Brewing beer and The Portal Container Village’s food vendors will be open for food and drinks.

The event also includes a fundraiser by the RAVE Foundation, a public charity with the Seattle Sounders that “removes barriers to play by building fields for free play and giving soccer balls to kids who need them most,” according to the news release.

A $10 donation at the event will gift a soccer ball to a child, as well as a soccer ball for guests to take home.

The event starts at 11:15 a.m. with kick off at noon at Kulshan Trackside beer garden at 298 W Laurel St. in Bellingham.
