Charlotte Checkers Recall Liam Arnsby From Savannah

The Charlotte Checkers have recalled forward Liam Arnsby from the ECHL's Savannah Ghost Pirates, it was announced Sunday.

Arnsby, a 2022 seventh round pick of the Panthers, is in his first pro season, having collected two goals and four assists for six points in 24 games with the Ghost Pirates.

Before signing an AHL deal with the Checkers during the summer, Arnsby played parts of four seasons with the OHL's North Bay Battalion, serving as captain for three seasons. Over the course of 215 career regular season games, the Ajax, Ont.., native had 36 goals and 110 points.

With Arnsby being recalled by Charlotte, he will have the chance to appear in his first career AHL game. A hard-working, two-way player who makes quick plays with the puck, Arnsby has succeeded at every level and the AHL should be no different.
