Chandler Jones has been arrested for the second time in a month in Las Vegas: Reports

Chandler Jones, former Las Vegas Raiders linebacker and brother of UFC star Jon Jones, was arrested for the second time in Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jones was arrested for violating a domestic violence temporary protection order.

Metropolitan Police records obtained by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, show officers were called to a Las Vegas home on Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. and Jones was taken into custody.

Jones was arrested for the first time on September 29 on two counts of violating a domestic violence protection order. Jones was released the same afternoon after posting a $15,000 bail bond and was scheduled for arrangement on Dec. 4.

Jones signed 3-year deal with Raiders in off-season

Jones signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Raiders in 2022. However, following September arrest and erratic behavior on social media, the Las Vegas Raiders released him from the team.

The Raiders said in a statement that they were “hopeful that Chandler Jones receives the care that he needs. He, His family, and all those involved are in our thoughts."

Jones was a first-round draft pick by the Patriots in 2012. He played four years in New England before spending six years with the Arizona Cardinals after being traded in 2016.

In 2022, Jones joined the Las Vegas Raiders and played in 15 games. During that time, he recorded 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and forced one fumble.
