Jordia alba with a chance yohei takaoka makes a fine save. Keeps it scoreless onto the 37th minute. Look at robert taylor take the past what a great goal. No way he's going to get his mitts on that one. Whaps without a shot target in the first half. Like I was saying, sets up the goal this one by leonardo campana 2-nil miami but whitecaps get a lifeline, fafa picault knocked down in the box. They looked and said that the penalty. For goals and 9 points in 10 games and 2-1 canada. But they chose to sit on the lead and paid for it dearly. Eric carlson bombing it from that point. And its through jordan and right to 2-2 hockey game. And he throws the puck away here. It is a terrible giveaway. With the second for sweden. They add an empty net or 4-2 the fin as they won gold last time in 2018, no bronze medalmonaco grand prix that is tind of weather we want here. Charleclerc on pole this is the opening lap. Kevin magnussen bumps se perez he had the guard rail at full speed s car disintegrates which is what it supposed to do. Magnussen, nico hulkenberg and perez all out of the race and they weren't even through the opening lap and while that was happeni here what's happened just a few cars in front of them he gets pulled by his teamroviding us with the drivers from his cockpit he finished 14th, by the way, blew a gasket afterwards didn't know what doing squeezing him like that when there was no room at monaco they did red flag of thee charles leclerc goes the distance wins from pole no difference in the top 10 running olderoscar piastri 2nd carlos sainz 3rd lance stro4th. Jrue holliday in the final minute with the drive, plus the foul and the celtics win again. 114-111 they lead the series 3-0 now just one win away from the nba finals. T coming to 13 much cooler than we should be for this time of year. The seasonal isdegrees and I have been saying that were going to be getting there till next friday. So it's going to be climbing to the high, normally 19 sunset at 904 we broke a record in 1958 at 26 degrees. Goight of all the rain as it

is actually a double where were last year in may, so that's good news and that does include what's coming down right so that it is a washout today as fororrow were going to catch a little bit of a break, some overcast skies late day, a little bit of pause in the nex system comes in tomorrow night, anduesday will be a soaker as well. For the entire coast really getting hit with the rain, pockets of rain as well through much of the province, thought the southeastereas of the interior are getting some niceweather today just a few risks and tuesday it iing to be a wet one and that will push its in through the interior regions of the province, s let's just take us snapshot today of those cooler temperatures.sunshine for the thompson okanagan, columbia kootenay region otherwise wet and windy along the coast and we have 5 days of cooler days and wet days ahead, jennifer. >> Jennifer: thanks so much. At is it like to be an asian canadian, a unique experience explored through poetry. May is asian heritage month and author ellenng-richardson is delving into the asian canadian experience. And joins us now, thanks, much for being here. >> Speaker: thanks for havme jennifer. >> Jennife copy of your book right there "blood belies" can tell us a little bit about it? >> Speaker: it's a collection of poetry and actually going to use an oit up and show how or if today, so it incorporates the use of visual whitespace as well as photographs and then excavation and annvestigation of what it means toe asian canadian and it looks at the history of itutional racism against asian canadians in the vetart of the post covid and it has personal memory and family history, my father's side survived the genocide and brings it allogether. >> Jennifer: very impactful, and very tactile book I have to s I have a copy here. And these black spaces, can you people what that means? >> Speaker: I love that you bring that up. So those black spaces rightthere, they actually sandwich a poem that is titled please tell me this will not last forever. And, I wrote that poem in the days following the discove of bodies at residential schoolsacross canada. It was very important for me to sandwich that poem in between that blackces almost like a coffin. And pay respect. >> Jennifer: a lot ofeaning behind the books a lot of ought with it obviously, not just from the poetry that you've written, but how it is presented. Why did you want to write about it tha way? >> Speaker: I ship it back on the visual arts. And for me there's a beauty in its entirety. It really brings the reader into this space and creates a erse where in which thereader can experience and can hopefully learn and change ass of themselves for the better, and I guess that's where it c from is it's mostly from my visual background. >> Jennifer: v interesting, very cool addition if you will to help tell the stories that you want to tell through your poetry. How about the title, that's interesting "blood belies" >> Speaker: yeah, so "blood belies" it's not a very common words as mean it means to deceive. And what I was trying to figure out the colion I had a poem in the centre of it that a longer part of it, it had that as sort of a line in the poem it was the collection be more hopeful than angry, and I removed the pole but I kept the title. And to me "blood belies" ths a lot of history in terms of your given societal cloud based offf the purity of one's blood but at the end of the day, wre all the same we all believe the same, will breathe the same we have the same flesh and blood and really great. >> Jennifer: if people of a bit of a copy of your book work and they do that? >> Speaker: at any local pendent bookstore. Vancouver highly recommend mass e-books and actually going to be there in september doing the reading for my vancouver. >> Jennifer: fantastic will have to come check it out and person instead of just over zoom. Thank you so much for spending some time with us that is ellen chang-richardson and hurt newest "blood belies" >> Speaker: thank you so much jennifer. >> Jfer: stay with us. Coming up the race you don't want to miss.
