it is a soggy oneriods of rain all day and a little bit breezy by the water and sunset at 9:04 P.M. expected to be a washout, the bc dog looking for@global news.ca. So, yes, the son has been stolen from us for the next several da unfortunately, hopefully you end the bricks yesterday afternoon perfect timing, really nice, not too either. We are beleasonal as far as temperatures go, we have this disturbance bringing active weather all along the coast, parts of the province all seeing something or other, it isn for us here, cooler temperes reaching a high of 13 degrees not gorgeous out there here's a look at the coquihalla it's foggy, is what we singkets of fog as well so due to caution if you're doing any travelling heresnapshot of across the countr you can see the heat for severalays now MID-20s some increasing cloud coverr some drizzle for st. John's, chance of terstorms for highlighting one be so incredible amountsf rainfall even snow with the storm, the bring storm we could see somestormy conditions and through the afternoon hours, otherwisein mix of uncalled for the prairies and its rent for ushere in bc. This is a look at rain moving in, so get ready, because of another system it's been a pack a punch w night, so monday night into your tuesday and very soggy one. All to show youuickly there's a snapshot, cooler temperatures, wet and windy, just the wrath of the activity for much of thesoutheastern pocket of the province but otherwise, a 5 day stretch quite cool, jay, quite too cool for my liking but you're cool. >> Jay: we'll take this sunshine they'll think you steph the vancouver whitecaps are barely clinging to a playoff spot, caps may remain winless in the gnostics matches through all competitions after inter-miami came into bc place and snuffed out whitecaps 2-1and the poor start by vancouver the caps a to show again whe finishing and they only scored two goals in their last 7 games and they did play with the same energy destion that they showed in the final 10 minutes of this match, they were talking about a different result today, just over 51,000 fanseeing my no messy or a ecaps victory. Great to see bc place full of course we will see that later in november the grey cup 10. That's a lot of money to spend. To go to a game especially when you don't get to see why no messy. Jordia alba with a chance yohei takaoka makes a fine save. Keeps it scoreless but late in the half, miami open the scoring, and it's a beauty how is that for a cutback and then fires it back onto the net robert taylor nothing that he could not do without one the whitecaps wereithout without a shot in the entire first half it gets worse, miami on the attack as up the goal this one by leonardo campana 2-nil miami who needs messi?eet him yesterday. This was good though. But whitecaps get a lifeline, fafa picault knocked down in the box by thomas aviles ryan gauld has never missed from the spot as a whitecap it's 2-1 this game had some bite, faf the whitecaps they scored open play was april 27th that is 5 matches 2-1 miami wins in front of the sellout crowd at bc place. >> Speaker: we tried. We put all of our efforts. We did very good in getting ourselves in the right position. We arrived in the box, we arrive very close to the goal and the owd today was amazing, it was fantastic and we are so sorry that we could not a lease tie in the end, because they were really helpings andt was special. >> Jay: while the lines playingthe first of two preseason games yesterday they are integrally king taking on the stampeders. With the veteran line up with a lot of guys they want to see if they can make the team. Jake mary swings it over the middle to marken michel, great catch there it into the end zone 7-0 calgary he was not touched and any but that's wha just walked up and when in everyone's getting their work out in the preseason for another touchdown in the second quarter but the lions defence comes up big, tommy stevens stopped in remains 7-0. Dakota prukop trying to win the backup qb jo along with jake dolegala who played1st quarter prukop with a completion to stanley berryhill led to a fg, 13-3 cgy at half 3rd qur, stamps add to the lead bj emmons goes right, turns back, and finds some room, runs it in foe touchdown

stamps win it easily 30-6 lions are home to the edmonton elks friday for their final pre-season game we will see the starters and a at home friday to come in edmonton. >> Speaker: I think the mission here was to evaluate people, and t to make sure we don't miss out on somebody who can help us this year. We need to do a really good job over the next 2urs of watching this and sg what these guys did, so that we can make good >> Speaker: a few morys of camp how important is it to hunker down and accomplish what we have to? >> Speaker: need to make the days count and let people recover and then we have three full practice days left and then we have two head back to the lowenland and that's always the exciting thing that in 6 days you're going to be at home at bc place plane the last preseason game and then off to the real stuff after that. >> Jay: the monaco grand prix with the highlights for you. The opening lap they were not even halfway through. In the race gets a red flagged as he car just disintegrates as he hithe guardrail at full force after gettingped he was out of the race, iously sergio perez he was done. Same with nico as the onboard camera look at it. The race was delayed for about a half an hour. And while that was happening this is what transpired in front of them this was onboard as they got by his team messed up on and just a lot of roith monaco to be squeezing yourself pass another car he wasn't please his team but as mentioned about a 30 minute delay wheny clean up the track. That was what was left of sergio charles goes from start to finish to win his hometown monaco grand prix but it was second in last year's 14. Stanley cup playo oilers and stars, edmonton won the op in double overtime on a goal by connor mcdavid stars open and the first one jamie benn 2 on 1 shoots and scores past stuart skinner 1-0 dallas but the oilers get it right conor brown his first playoff goal since 2018 when he was a maple leaf nice move on jake oilers keep on coming in tight, but jake oetinger just gets a skate blade on it. He pushes it off to the side. 1-1 logan stankoven gets a chance has a great saved std by stuart skinner 1-1 after one and then more from stuart skinner really struggling against the vancouver canucks as he stops off tyler seguin and jason robertson remains but early 3rd stars take their ryan suter's point shot deflected in by mason marchment dallas in front 2-1 oilers tried to tie it but draisaitl to mattias ekholm, but jake oger great save stars add an and win it 3-1 series tied 1-1 the world hockey championship bronze medal game has just completed, sweden is the winners against canada. Not only f public education but also for awareness that the search and rescue in british columbia is all volunteer, and we wanted to give the publi of you on what happens behind closed doors if you will. >> Jennifer: how intricate is it film those? Because there's a lot of long lines and all kinds angles. >> Speaker: absolutely meet did not want that t impact our response at all. So silver park films did an amazing job at that they had cameras all over the place theyalso had people coming out and filming us. In the big piece with that is that we di not want us to impact so they had to be completely out of our way and actually stay ahead of us. >> Jennifer: ts in port and all these are real rescues were seeing. >> Speaker: oh yeah, I think that's another great point, you're asking a snippeto someone's worst day. You are seeing our response of how much time and effort has gone into that, the dedication of all the volunteers. And then the impact, there is a impact the people we rescue and I know it's mental healthawareness month. So there are a big impact, but sharing thery is really powerful for us. >> Jennifer: maybe even a little therapeutic maybe?for some customer. >> Jennifer: now there's a lot of new technology that it is in bracing, and like the night vision andut can tell us? >> Speaker: we have that night toys that is really shown in this what a difference it m not only for rescue or but for the people that we respond to
