Champions League: Sparta Prague vs. Inter – Probable line-ups and where to watch
Simone Inzaghi could welcome both Marcus Thuram and Henrikh Mkhitaryan back into his starting line-up when Inter take on Sparta Prague in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Nerazzurri are coming in off the back of a 3-1 victory over Empoli in Serie A over the weekend, and also have a couple of potential returns to the starting XI to strengthen them even further.
Alessandro Bastoni, who was rested for the Empoli match, is expected to return to the back three in Czechia, alongside Stefan De Vrij and Benjamin Pavard.
Mkhiratyan could also come back into the midfield three in the place of Piotr Zielinski, but Nicolo Barella and Kristjan Asllani are both in line to keep their places in the team with Hakan Calhanoglu still out.
Leading goalscorer Thuram, who scored again off the bench against Empoli, could return up front alongside captain Lautaro Martinez, which would mean Mehdi Taremi dropping to the bench.
Kick-off is due at 20.00 GMT.
