We welcome nicholas rotten with infill edmonton up on the gas can with alair homes. Good morning, gentlemen. One morning when we start off talking about a building our to y e g and with us. >> Yeah, that's what's kind of concept. We started about 6 years ago where we just noticed there's of sort of a perception in the construction industry that it's kind of. Quick and dirty. And we really want to change that perception and kind of introduce that all these buildings that we're putting up in these communities are beautiful. So we want to celebrate the artists that are involved. >> And what is an award attached to the project? >> Yes, so we decided this year you team up with idea and we would actually reward builders in the industry, the doing the same thing and kind of I'm bringing judy to the communities that they work in. >> So is the beauty of built the home itself. The architectural design. Yeah, they were. Yeah, it can be for beautifying the neighbourhood there, the community there working and it can be. >> Commercial space, it can be residential buildings, but it really just, we want to celebrate builders that are actually I'm putting some conscious thought into beautifying their communities. >> Thanks to nicholas. A lot of building going on, whether its projects and tell us about the ones that made the short list. Yeah, like this was a great collaboration with a layer because we're really about creating enrichment and using infill as a catalyst for neighbourhoods. We have 3 projects that really identified these features that we're looking for. So we have one in calder, the focus of that particular project is a mixed use project with a coffee shop that harkens to the nostalgia of the railways that were in that and micro suites, which brings affordability if they get the award, they're planning on doing a mural painting on in the neighbourhood that we have another one. A laneway home promotes intergenerational housing. I'm also promote accessibility. So keeping people in the neighbourhoods that they love. And then the rd project is what we're calling infill in old strathcona. So it's your typical infill density project. Family home, has secondary suite in the basement. And then a garden suite outback so many local trades were involved in that as well. So it really was a great project for heightening edmonton local economy. >> Infill sometimes maybe it gets a lot of praise. Maybe some people are afraid of it is a great way to showcase some of the new innovative ways it's being done. >> Yeah, we were very excited about that because a lot of the time what we see with these kind of projects as they can be a catalyst for renewing are revitalizing a revitalizing neighbourhood. It's ok, we're definitely seeing that with the colder project. And so how do we find out about the winner? So we have our agm with idea tonight. So it's our annual general meeting. And on top of that, we've attached to the awards ceremony. We're going to talk about the projects a little bit more and then identifying the winner. There's going to be coming as well. And there's a cash prize, maybe want to talk with the cash prize, a cause of that. >> Yes, we're awarding $7500 to the winner. And the idea is they're actually going to use that money to put it back into the community. So it's just kind of a win-win situation for

everyone >> Well, I think you both so much for coming in. And paul for a letter for really kick starting this and getting going for the last 6 years. And thank you, thanks.
