Jaemin why did you want to give up your time for the organization? Jaemin: well first thing, I actually wanted to contribute to society. And like, I was looking for opportunities to volunteer. Mahad: the kids took to him immediately, you know, he gets swarmed when he enters the club. And they just really love his presence and just his, you know his friendship, and his mentorship throughout the program. Jaemin: I actually did not have a positive male role model when I was growing up. But for me now, I can be a positive male role model and when they're growing up I can give them good advice, and good life lessons. Kim: what do you love most about volunteering with big brothers big sisters? Jaemin: seeing kids smiling, it's so rewarding, I feel like I'm doing something. And it's, it's not an issue that sees a problematic dogs. He's pretty relaxed. Pretty pretty good girl. >> 100%. She's really good. The kids, she's very low energy, she loves going on looks okay. She just not just like cats. Okay. And she is really good with dogs when they do very slow interactions and the other dogs, very calm. Okay. She's not a hyper dog, just like other high for dogs. >> So if you don't have a cat and maybe you do have a dog already, that's just a relaxed august. Well, so she's looking for a good home that way and she has, she's been just that's, that's right. The picture for if when we talk about maybe you already do have one dog and then you're thinking about maybe surely are getting another sometimes people think. >> I want to get to a littermates. Yeah, sounds like a fantastic idea, but maybe not. >> Yeah, it's you. That's the thing. Like a lot of times, we think of them like little

people. So we think all of 2 siblings together, we so sweet to be so cute and it is, it is very adorable. 2 little puppies. But then what can happen is they can develop the syndrome where either they become aggressive towards each other or they become super co-dependent where they didn't want to each other rather than to their family. They can have separation anxiety, like even if you take one to the vet and we've won at home. So then it becomes a little bit of an they can also get to the point where they just the 2 of them want to play together. So if you take them into other situations with dogs, they will play to the exclusion of other dogs or 2 people. So. It's, it's a little bit of a behavioural issue, then at that point. And that's something you'd want to avoid. >> Right, so if you did want more than one way to go about it. >> Well, we suggest what what's suggested is waiting even 6 months between the 2. So get a puppy, socialize it really well, have fun with the family, really get comfortable in the home and then bring in a second dog and then that way. You're, you're getting time with both of the animals, both of them have a chance to bond. >> Perfect, right. Lots of ready for adoption meat. The dogs. You some events come. >> Yeah, yeah, we do. So we have one of our main fund-raisers coming up this weekend, a june first is sneakers and strays. So all of the details for that are on the heart rescue and we'll have adoptable dogs there as well. And then the next weekend at salisbury greenhouse. We event as well over a where we'll have adoptable dogs president. Yeah. >> And justin ayre for someone wanted to go about looking into a dog like surely is what's the process like? >> I just go into the heart website and fill out an adoption application and we'll start that process. It will be a couple home visits may be a like a couple hours for shulz spend some time if you're police and we'll see if it works with you. Want to forks with us, ok?
