And this morning, it is breaking ground on construction of an expansion to increase the processing capacity to meet the city's growing needs. Now the city started building the compost facility in 2015 at the shepherd waste management site. And then green cart collection began in 2017. But the facility process is upwards of 145,000 metric tons of residential food and yard waste and do water biosolids every single year. And so this expansion will provide and additional 60,000 tons per year of capacity. Now on top of that, the expansion will include an anaerobic digestion module that will turn food and yard waste into renewable natural gas that can be used to it.
