We lost thousands of dollars. Police say victims typically receive a call from someone posing as a loved one say they've been arrested and need money immediately. The victim is asked to hand over the cash if they refuse are threatened into compliance. Police say as of january, there have been 2 reported incidents of the scam. 21 fell for it and lost a total of $180,000. Inglewood aquatic centers last day is december 22nd. The city says the centre has already outlived its expected lifespan by 20 years and is in need of major electrical repairs are already plans to develop the land into a large mixed use area with homes. The decision to close is actually made in 2019, but the city face community pushback and held off the last 5 years.
