Cesc Fàbregas’ Como on the verge of deals for Real Madrid & ex-Barcelona stars
Serie A newcomers Como are close to wrapping up deals for two players whose names will be familiar to regular viewers of Spanish football.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes at the Italian outfit overseen by Spanish football icon Cesc Fàbregas.
Como, it is confirmed, are now ‘confident’ in pushing three signings over the line this coming week.
First up is Sergi Roberto, available as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.
Next is Nico Páz, a highly-regarded midfield starlet who managed seven appearances for Carlo Ancelotti’s all-conquering Real Madrid last season.
And last up comes Máximo Perrone, an Argentine youth international owned by Manchester City, who also spent the 2023/24 campaign lining out in La Liga, with Las Palmas.
Cesc Fàbregas certainly seems intent on bringing a piece of his home country to Italy for the season ahead!
