Aston Villa sit ninth in the Champions League standings are a strong campaign under Unai Emery. In the club’s first campaign in Europe’s top competition since the 1980s, Villa have claimed statement wins over the likes of Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig.

Celtic are without 15-goal forward Daizen Maeda after his red card against Young Boys last time out. The Japan international has three goals in seven Champions League appearances.
Maeda’s compatriot, Kyogo Furuhashi, is also out of the squad after completing a transfer to French side Rennes this month. Celtic have re-signed winger Jota as a replacement but the new recruit is ineligible. James Forrest is still sidelined with a foot issue.
