Wow, what a fun day. What a fun day, what a fun day We've had here together What a fun day, what a fun day Couldn't have been better We played and laughed Tried something new And spent time with our friends We learned that there's kindness brings a smile And now, we've reached the end Oh, what a fun day, what a fun day It was the bestest sort We've had the most fun day with you In Gary's Magic Fort Thanks for all your help today my friend. It always feels good to be kind. And now, Stuffy and I have one more thing to give. Ready Stuffy? 1, 2, 3 and 4 and... Gary the Unicorn here at theCouncil of Yukon First Nationsto learn all about hand games, isn't that right? -Kids: Yeah! -[Gary hoots] Let the games begin. [drumming] This is my good friend Taven, who's going to tell us all about how to play hand games. OK, Taven, I'm ready to learn, Taven, tell me. So there's two teams, and then one team tied the rock behind their back, and when you're ready and have it in one hand, you come up and when the other team points, if you point to the hand that doesn't have the rock, you're safe, and if they point to the hand that has the rock, you're out. So two teams... ..hiding rocks, point to somebody's hand that could have a rock in it or not. And that's how you play the game? Yeah. Very excited. Can, can you show me? OK, which one? There's your rock? This is your rock right here. Taven: Here. Gary: OK, you've got your rock and now you're going to hide it, OK. I won't look. [light] OK. Are you hiding it? -Yeah. -OK, OK, OK. OK. Now I have to guess. I have to guess which hand it is, Right? -Yeah. -OK. Ah... This one. Hmm. Oh! That means you're safe and I have to keep guessing, right? -Yes. -OK, phew. I think I got the hang of this now. Oh, look at me. I'm playing hand games. I am going to be so good at this game I can't even tell you. [excited giggles] [drumming] Oh, me? OK. Kids: Gary! What? Does that mean I'm out? -Yeah. -Yeah. -Yup. -Oh. But yay, this is so much fun! Thank you so much for having me here and, and teaching me how to play hand games. My only question is, ah, since I don't really have hands, I have hooves. Can we play hoof games next? -Kids: Yeah! -Yeah! [upbeat] [zapping] [tuning radio sounds] Announcer: CBC Kids.
