Each Monday, we’ll gather the best catches from the weekend (or the midweek games) and bring them here for you to vote on in a poll. There could be only a few nominees, or there could be five or six. It all depends on the weekend. If you have a catch you’d like to nominate, don’t hesitate to hit us up on Twitter (@YahooDrSaturday).

The voting remains open until Friday and the winner advances to another round of voting that will help crown the best catch of the regular season.

It’s about time the fullback got some love. For the first time, a fullback has won our catch of the week poll. And in true fullback fashion, it came on a three-yard catch. Michigan’s Khalid Hill sprawling one-handed, juggling catch against Maryland took home 40 percent of the vote for Week 10.

Hill’s catch bested Miami’s Ahmmon Richards (25%), Virginia’s Doni Dowling (20%), Bowling Green’s Teo Redding (10%) and USC’s Daniel Imatorbhebhe (4%).

Here are the Week 11 nominees:

Tanner Gentry – Wyoming

Wyoming was upset by UNLV in triple overtime on Saturday, but Tanner Gentry did all he could to keep the Cowboys in the game. Gentry caught five passes for 184 yards and three scores, two of which we’re including in this post. Both are that good.

Here’s the first one, which came at the end of the first half. Gentry fought through coverage and caught the pass one-handed for a 48-yard score.

His second highlight reel grab forced overtime, capping off a nine-play, 97-yard drive that took just 1:06. The play came as time expired when Josh Allen fired one up to Gentry in the corner of the end zone. After going out of bounds, he quickly re-established himself inbounds and made a leaping one-handed catch.

Anthony Miller – Memphis

Memphis junior Anthony Miller put up huge numbers Saturday in a close loss to USF. Miller hauled in 10 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown in the 49-42 defeat. His best catch of the night was Odell Beckham-like. Watch this:

The best part of the play is that he briefly lost possession, but regained hold of the ball and tapped a foot inbounds in a split second. Nice play.

Riley Ridley – Georgia

There wasn’t a lot of offense in Georgia’s 13-9 upset over Auburn, but Riley Ridley still managed to make an impact. The true freshman caught three passes for a career-high 89 yards, including a juggling one-handed catch down the sideline for a big gain.

Great effort.

Damore’ea Stringfellow – Ole Miss

Ole Miss junior Damore’ea Stringfellow played a big role in the Rebels’ comeback win over Texas A&M. Stringfellow had five catches for 74 yards and a touchdown. One of those catches was a juggling one-handed grab on a nice throw from Shea Patterson.

Here’s a closer look at the concentration it took for Stringfellow to make this catch. Unreal.

Jester Weah – Pittsburgh

Pitt registered one of the best upsets of the season Saturday at No. 2 Clemson. Panthers QB Nate Peterman had one of the best games of his career, and this connection he had with Jester Weah in the second quarter showed how dialed in he was. Peterman put this ball where only Weah could get to it, and Weah held up his end of the bargain.

The best part of the catch was Weah’s perfectly timed leap over top of the defensive back, allowing him to make the impressive one-handed catch.
