Manchester United have already signed Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee to strengthen at the back and up front and have been trying to add to their midfield next but player sales are necessary in order to not run afoul of PSR restrictions.

The Red Devils’ planned move for Manuel Ugarte of Paris Saint-Germain has not materialised with the club unable to match the Parisian outfit’s demands thus far.

Despite mending ways with Erik ten Hag, Casemiro is the midfielder INEOS are looking to move on with his departure likely to free up the wage bill significantly.

But so far, no team has come forward with a concrete proposal for the Brazilian with The Peoples Person recently relaying that the 32-year-old, who has started all three pre-season games so far, is in line to start the season opener against Fulham.

Casemiro’s future

Not many teams in the world can afford to pay United’s asking price of €35 million as well as the player’s humongous wages except for teams in the Saudi Pro League.

The former Real Madrid superstar’s agent is in talks with the Saudi quartet of Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya with only the latter two asking for additional information as per Teamtalk.

Both Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya have enquired about the possibility of landing the five-time Champions League winner, though no official bid has arrived.

The defensive midfielder’s agent is planning a new round of talks with the clubs in a bid to try and find his client a new home.

“Two Saudi Pro League clubs are expected to revisit talks with Manchester United over signing a top midfielder this summer, sources have revealed to TEAMtalk.

“Casemiro is always a top target for the Saudi League and would like to continue his career there. However, no Saudi clubs have officially requested him or put an offer on the table as yet.

New round of talks planned

“The United player’s agent has already met different clubs in these past weeks (Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya) but, at the moment, only Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya asked for additional information – although there is no concrete move as yet.

“His agent has already met with several clubs in recent weeks, and a new round of talks with Al Ahli and Al Qadisiya for a possible transfer is expected soon.”

Casemiro’s departure could also be enough to land Adrien Rabiot whose salary demands can only be fulfilled if the wage bill is cleared.

The Brazilian struggled in his sophomore campaign in red after an impressive debut campaign with many of the opinion that age and injuries have caught up with the midfield dynamo who has lost a yard of pace.

United are set to incur a heavy loss on their initial investment with many at the time questioning the value of the deal irrespective of the player’s roaring start to life as a United player.
