Carolina Hurricanes vs. New York Islanders: Lineups, Game Preview and How to Watch
What - Game 31 (19-10-1)
When - 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17
Where - Lenovo Center; Raleigh, NC
How to Watch - ESPN+, HULU
The Carolina Hurricanes will look to win consecutive games for the first time in nine games as they host the New York Islanders (12-13-7).
Carolina is coming off of a 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets where Dustin Tokarski came away with the win after making his first start in nearly two years.
The Canes have started to look more like themselves at 5v5 over the past few games, so that will be a big thing to look for tonight.
The Islanders are coming off of a 5-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks and have just one win in their last three games.
New York also has the league's worst special teams, ranking last in both the penalty kill and power play.
Perhaps that will be an area where Carolina can really capitalize.
