Well hockey is once again upon us.
After just five days of camp, the Carolina Hurricanes will be playing in their first pre-season game tonight in Tampa Bay.
The group will be primarily prospect, although their are eight players from the C1 main group playing tonight.
We will also be seeing the debuts of Eric Robinson, Ty Smith and Tyson Jost in a Hurricanes sweater.
While pre-season can be a time to see what the new guys have or to try new things, the biggest goal is clear: get out healthy.
So here's to that.

The Canes will be debuting three PTO players: Sam Gagner, Rocco Grimaldi and Skyler Brind'Amour.
It will be the first time in a while that Rod Brind'Amour has coached Skyler in a game although he did coach against him last preseason.

The Canes will also be seeing the debut of their 'Young Guns' line of Bradly Nadeau, Felix Unger Sorum and Jackson Blake.
Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to start and go the length.
