Carolina Hurricanes Release 2024 Training Camp Schedule
It's been a long summer, but the NHL season is almost finally upon us.
And with the Carolina Hurricanes' announcement of their training camp schedule, we have the blueprint all the way to opening night.
The Canes will technically open camp on Sept. 18 for team physicals and testing, but the first true day of practice and camp will be Thursday, Sept. 19.
Training camp will last from then till Oct. 10, the day before the Hurricanes' season opener against the Tampa Bay Lighting at the Lenovo Center.
The Canes will play six preseason games during training camp facing each of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators twice in a home-and-home series.

Camp will be split between two groups labeled C1 and C2.

During camp, the team will split time between Lenovo Center, which practices there are only open to the media, and Invisalign Arena at the Wake Competition Center in Morrisville, which practices there are open to the public.
