Carlo Ancelotti sends message to Kylian Mbappe upon Real Madrid arrival
On Tuesday, Kylian Mbappe was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player. 80,000 supporters were at the Santiago Bernabeu to see their new number nine, who was presented by president Florentino Perez, and also club icon Zinedine Zidane.
Carlo Ancelotti was present at Valdebebas, as Real Madrid continued their pre-season training program, and he met his new attacker. He posted a picture of the two together on X, and in the caption, he welcomed the France captain to the club.
“Welcome to the best club in the world. Welcome home, Kylian. Hala Madrid!”
Bienvenido al mejor club del mundo.
Bienvenido a tu casa, Kylian.

It will be very interesting to see how Mbappe fits into Ancelotti’s plans for next season and beyond. The expectation is that he will play as a central striker in a 4-3-3 system, with Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes either side of him. However, it should be remembered that Mbappe prefers to play on the left himself – this is something that the Italian will need to bare in mind when preparing his Real Madrid tactics.
