Carlo Ancelotti answered the chants of Real Madrid’s fans for one player vs Alavés
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti endeared himself ever further to the club’s supporters on Tuesday night.
As much came by way of his actions during the club’s latest outing.
Real, of course, are currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.
Fresh off a quartet of successive victories across all competitions, Los Blancos headed into proceedings brimming with confidence, no doubt eager to keep the pressure on table-topping arch rivals Barcelona.
And, as things stand in Spain’s capital, this is precisely what the evening’s hosts are headed towards.
Owing to finishes on the part of all of Lucas Vázquez, Kylian Mbappé and Rodrygo, Real Madrid currently lead Alavés by three goals to nil.
In turn, late in proceedings, boss Carlo Ancelotti felt it only right to answer a lighthearted plea on the part of the Blancos faithful.
After the forgotten Jesús Vallejo was sent out to warm up by his manager, the home crowd at the Santiago Bernabéu responded with chants of:
‘Bring Vallejo on! Bring Valleho on!’
And Ancelotti took little time in responding to such calls, introducing Vallejo for the defender’s season debut late on.
