Cardinals vs. Eagles preview: Predictions, odds, and how to watch Sunday's game
The Philadelphia Eagles (11-4) host the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) at Lincoln Financial Field as part of the early slate of NFL games in Week 17.
The Cardinals come in to the second-to-last week of the regular season on a two-game losing streak. Last week's 27-16 loss to the Chicago Bears was the worst game of the season for the Cardinals' run defense. Chicago gained 250 yards on the ground and put the game away with a field goal in the final minute. Arizona's offense struggled as well one week after a season-high 436 yards against the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Kyler Murray went 24-of-38 passing with 230 yards and two touchdowns.
Philadelphia head into Week 17 a week after ending a three-game losing streak with a 33-25 win over the New York Giants on Christmas. Quarterback Jalen Hurts also went 24-of-38 through the air with 301 yards and two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing). Unfortunately his one interception was returned for a touchdown late in the third quarter which kept the Giants in the game through the final frame.
This game is Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon's first game against the Eagles since leaving Philadelphia's defensive coordinator position to take the Cardinals job. In his absence, the Eagles' defense has dropped from eighth to 25th in the league in points allowed.

Week 17: Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles Predictions
Arizona Republic: Eagles 30, Cardinals 17
Jeremy Cluff writes: "Jonathan Gannon makes his return to Philadelphia, now as the Cardinals head coach. It won't go well for Arizona."
Pickswise: Arizona +11
Caleb Wilfinger says: "The Eagles have been sloppy, and last week Hurts’ interception-turned-TD and more egregious mistakes kept a lowly Giants’ team in the contest until the end... The Cards have also had success against the NFC East this season. They beat Dallas straight up and nearly beat the Giants and Commanders. Over a 10-point spread, we see value on Arizona."
KOLD: Eagles 30, Cardinals 18
Staff writes: "Philadelphia has won six games against the spread this season, while failing to cover or pushing nine times."
Clutchpoints: Eagles -10.5
Chris Spiering says: "The Cardinals are coming off an 11-point loss to the Chicago Bears. The Eagles are capable of really putting it on the Cardinals and I expect them to cover this spread. Buying a point to -9.5 might be a safer call but either way, the Eagles are the better team by far and will cruise with a win at home."
