Cardiff Devils secure comeback win at Manchester Storm

Elite League leaders Cardiff Devils secured a third successive win as they came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Manchester Storm.

Stephen Johnson fired the hosts ahead after just 25 seconds at Planet Ice Altrincham.

Alexis D'Aoust doubled Manchester's lead early on in the second period, although goals from Evan Mosey and Andrew MacWilliam saw Cardiff level proceedings.

Cody Donaghey netted three minutes into the third period as Devils secured an impressive comeback victory.

Cardiff return to action against Polish side GKS Katowice in the Continental Cup at the Vindico Arena on Thursday, 16 January (19:30 GMT).

Manchester take on Coventry Blaze at the Skydome in the Elite League on Sunday, 12 January (17:30 GMT).
