Cardiff Devils seal victory over Guildford Flames

Cardiff Devils maintained their grip on top spot in the Elite League with a 3-1 win over Guildford Flames.

Ben Davies fired the hosts in front in the first period at Vindico Arena, with Tyler Busch and Cody Donaghey adding efforts in the second period to extend Cardiff's lead.

Jack Jacome netted Flames' first goal in the third period, but Cardiff had done enough to clinch victory.

Devils return to action at Coventry Blaze in the Elite League on Sunday (17:30 GMT). Flames face the same opposition on Saturday (18:00 GMT).
