Cara Delevingne's new wet-look feather fringe adds a grunge touch to her bob

Cara Delevingne just wore a pretty epic wet-look bob to the 74th Annual Parsons Benefit in New York, combining two of 2023's biggest trends. I mean, it makes sense that the bob crew would still want to get involved in the summer of wet-look Mermaidcore fun.

But she didn't stop at two, the star has cut in a spiky little feather fringe, ticking bangs off the list, too. A hat-trick of trends.

She was dressed in custom Balmain and that deep jewel tone was mirrored in her eye makeup, giving her baby blues a piercing impact. Her dark liner added a further broodiness to the slightly grunge wet look bob, but the peachy lip kept a balance of the yin and yang (aka, the grunge and the glam).

But our joy from this 'do isn't stand alone. Our favourite moment was a snap Cara shared to her story of herself and Anna Wintour flanking Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, who was being honoured that night. What can we say? He's in a bob sandwich.

While the world has gone bob mad in 2023, with everyone from Zendaya to Hailey Bieber, and Jennifer Garner to Salma Hayek, we musn't forget about the most consistent and iconic bob in the celeb world. And Cara's new 'do bares certain similarities. Yes, it's a little choppier with the fringe thinner and swept to the side, but the length, that biscuity blonde, it's enough for us to enjoy a twinning moment.

Can we expect Anna Wintour to dabble in a wet-look bob herself? It's safe to say, almost certainly no. But now at least we can picture it?
