The Washington Capitals shook things up last game to try and reignite their scoring ways, and they'll stick with what worked as they visit the Buffalo Sabres.

The Capitals will stick with their shaken-up lines from Saturday, with Taylor Raddysh playing on the top line and Connor McMichael centering the third line. Charlie Lindgren will start.

- Alex Ovechkin has four goals in his last five games since returning from a broken leg. He sits just 23 away from passing Wayne Gretzky for the most goals in NHL history.

- Pierre-Luc Dubois has points in eight of his last nine outings.

- Aliaksei Protas has three goals in his last three games.

Washington Capitals Storylines

- Dylan Strome has found his scoring touch again, as he's on a three-game point streak and playing some of his best hockey. Look for him to be careful.

- Tom Wilson, who has points in four of his last five outings, should also be on fans' radars in Buffalo. He's a gritty opponent who's been producing well for Washington of late and has goals in back-to-back games.

- Look out for Connor McMichael; amid struggles of late, McMichael did a solid job at center on Saturday and felt very comfortable in that role, while getting on the scoresheet again. Watch for him to contribute again.
