Capitals vs. Canadiens Preview: Line Combinations, Stats, Storylines To Watch

WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals will have a bit of a different look on Friday against the Montreal Canadiens, as they'll see an NHL debut while trying to extend their point streak to six games.

Here's everything to know ahead of puck drop at Capital One Arena at 7 p.m. ET.

Washington Capitals Line Combinations

Ethen Frank will play in his first career game, skating on the third line with Taylor Raddysh and Lars Eller as he looks to add a spark to the team's scoring at 5-on-5.

Charlie Lindgren will start, while Logan Thompson will get the game against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.

- Alex Ovechkin has good career numbers against Montreal and is looking to hit the 20-goal mark yet again. He has four goals in six games since returning from a broken leg.
