Canucks Update List Of Players Set To Hit The Ice For Preseason Game In Abbotsford Versus The Flames

Fans are starting to get a better idea of which Vancouver Canucks will hit the ice at the Abbotsford Centre on Wednesday night against the Calgary Flames. In a recent social media post, the organization wrote, "See Carson Soucy, Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Arshdeep Bains, alongside Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson, Jake Debrusk, and Tyler Myers, when the Canucks take on the Flames at the Abbotsford Centre on Sept 25. Original posts had only featured Hughes, Pettersson DeBrusk and Myers, with Soucy, Lekkerimäki and Bains being the additions.

Based on the additions, fans will likely get to see the DeBrusk-Pettersson—Lekkerimäki line play together for the first time. The trio was together for the entirety of Training Camp and was one of the strongest lines during the practices. Last season, Vancouver played one preseason game in Abbotsford, falling to the Seattle Kraken 2-1 in front of over 6,500 fans.

Tickets for Wednesday's preseason game are still on sale, with prices ranging from $66 to $90. Wednesday will be the second of six preseason games this year, with the Canucks kicking off the new year the night before on Tuesday versus the Kraken at Rogers Arena. Game time for Wednesday, Sept 25, is scheduled for 7:00 and will feature a ceremony to commemorate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
