Canucks Demko Receives Fourth Highest Goaltender Rating In EA Sports NHL 25
Ahead of its release on Oct 4, EA Sports is revealing some of the top players' ratings for NHL 25. After releasing the top left and right wingers yesterday, EA Sports revealed the top ten goaltenders, which, without surprise, featured Vancouver Canucks Thatcher Demko. Ranked fourth with a rating of 91, the only three goaltenders with a higher rating are Connor Hellebuyck, Igor Shesterkin and Andrei Vasilevskiy.

Demko is coming off his best season of his career. He was nominated for the Vezina Trophy and hit the 35-win mark for the first time. Demko also set a new career high with five shutouts and became the first Canucks goaltender since Roberto Luongo in 2007 to be voted to the Second All-Star Team.

EA Sports also revealed that Quinn Hughes will be the tenth fastest player in the game. While his overall rating hasn't been released, he will have a speed rating of 93 in NHL 25. Vancouver's captain is one of three defenders in the top ten, with Cale Makar and Miro Heiskanen to only two ahead of him. Hughes is projected to be the top-rated left defenceman in the game and should be second overall behind only Makar.
