One of boxing's biggest stars, [autotag]Canelo Alvarez[/autotag] returns Sept. 14 to battle [autotag]Edgar Berlanga[/autotag], and now it's set who will be the third man inside the ring with them.

At Thursdays' monthly Nevada Athletic Commission meeting, members voted and approved Harvey Dock as the referee for the Mexican Independence Day weekend clash at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Additionally, Max De Luca, Steve Weisfeld and David Sutherland will serve as judges for the 12-round WBC Super Middleweight title fight.

Dock will be paid $10,000 for the fight, and judges will each get $8,000.

The officials for the event's non-title bouts won't be revealed until fight night.

The boxing event will go head-to-head with UFC 306: Riyadh Season Noche UFC, which takes place a short distance away at Sphere.

That card will be headlined by two title fights: Sean O'Malley vs. Merab Dvalishvili and Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko. The officials for those fights were also determined Thursday.
