Canelo Alvarez gives three-word response to Jake Paul's world title callout

Arguably the biggest fight of Jake Paul's career draws near as he meets boxing icon Mike Tyson in the ring on November 15, but Paul already has his sights on a future fight with Canelo Alvarez.

Many consider the Mexican to be the greatest boxer of his generation. At only 34 years old and with a record of 62-2-2, he would likely be the toughest challenge that 'The Problem Child' ever faces in the ring, but is that fight likely to happen?

Jake Paul has been angling for a meeting with Canelo Alvarez for some time and believes his skillset matches up well against the elite boxer.

While there's a significant disparity in both their height and weight, Paul announced that he would love to stand across the ring from the much smaller and lighter Alvarez.

"[What's next?] It's Canelo. This moment will prove I'm the face of boxing, the largest attraction," Paul said during an appearance on the Timbo Sugar Show. "Me vs. Canelo at 200 lbs for the cruiserweight championship of the world is the biggest fight, arguably even bigger than me vs. Tyson."

"It makes so much sense. Canelo is on his way out. He's going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the sh*t I've been talking about beating Canelo is actually true and I'll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing."

Discussing the forthcoming Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson matchup, Canelo Alvarez discredited the event for being more of a show than a real fight.

"Not at all. It isn't [good for boxing]," Alvarez told TMZ. "I think Netflix is good for boxing, but for that fight especially, I think Netflix is doing something wrong there."

"I think Netflix being involved, yes it's good, but not in that kind of fight. I think it's more [of a] show than a fight. That's what I think."

In a brief but definitive response, Alvarez revealed if he'd welcome a fight against Jake Paul in the future.

"I'm not interested."
