Canadiens: Carey Price to Sign Autographs at the Expo Cartes Sports Montreal
Earlier this week, Angela Price confirmed her husband Montreal Canadiens goaltending legend Carey Price would be in town for the team's home opener on October 9, but it's not the only reason why he will be around.

Twice a year in Montreal, a sports cards show is held, once in October almost as a kick-off for hockey season and once in April-May, all too often a way to say goodbye to hockey for the long off-season. Once upon a time, the event was called l'Antiexpo, as if to say it was different from the Toronto Expo, but it is now called Expo Cartes Sports Montreal.
There has always been autograph sessions at the event, various NHL alumni have been guests such as Larry Robinson and Chris Chelios, current players have also been involved in the past, Brendan Gallagher being the headliner once and Jake Evans having been booked for October. He won't be the biggest name though, the organizers have outdone themselves, securing the presence of Frameworth Exclusive athlete Carey Price.
This edition of the Expo will take place from October 4 to October 6 at the Complexe Multi Sports de Laval, 955 av. de Bois-de-Boulogne and Price is slated to appear on the 5th. The exact time of his appearance has yet to be announced, but tickets are already on sale and they aren't cheap.
Those wanting an autograph will have to pay to get in the event ($49 VIP package or $15 per day for Saturday only. Then they will need to get a ticket for each autograph at a cost of $130 for regular items (such as pucks of 8x10 pictures) or $200 for premium items (jerseys, equipment, 16x20 pictures).
For those who want to get up close and personal with the goalie though, there are also two special packages the "Montreal Expo Package" which will set them back $600 and include one regular item signature, one premium item signature, an inscription ticket, a FastPass ticket and a Price Fanatics Jersey (unsigned).
Think that's expensive? Hold your horses the "Private Meet and Greet Package" which includes all of the above, plus a professional photograph of your meet and greet printed 8x10, a VIP FastPass ticket and a 20x29 Expo exclusive Montreal Canadiens framed canvas.

The now retired in all but name goaltender has spent his whole career in the Canadiens' crease but his public appearances at autograph signing sessions in town have been few and far between.
Although he would at times stop to sign for fans in Brossard at the team's practice facility, those autographs were always rushed and a bit sloppy on top of not being certified. If the event attracts as many fans as it did when he signed at the Toronto Expo, fans will need to arrive early and be ready to queue for quite some time.
Other guests for this edition of the Expo will include Doug Gilmour, Dennis Martinez, Ron Hassey, Pierre Mondou, Jake Evans and Ted Dibiase. If none of those tickle your fancy, you'll be sure to find something for your collection if you drop by.
