Canadian basketball star Robert Sacre is well-known for his vicious dunks but during the 2018 B-League Japanese Dunk Contest in Japan, Sacre came up short.

Literally. He got stuffed by the rim on his first attempt.

Despite the embarrassing first try, the B.C. native’s lacklustre jam was still able to rack-up 45 points in the contest.

How he scored a 9 from multiple judges remains a mystery.

The former Team Canada player, who also had a four-year stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, is leading his current Hitachi Sun Rockers team with 15.3 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. He’s also the first player to score 1,000 points in the B-league.

What he’s not leading his team in… is highlight reel dunks.
