Canada's Hannah Taylor loses in Olympic wrestling bronze-medal match

Canadian wrestler Hannah Taylor lost in the -57kg freestyle Olympic bronze-medal match on Friday.

The 26-year-old Summerside, P.E.I., native fell to American Helen Maroulis of the U.S. 4-0.

Japan's Tsugumi Sakurai won the -57kg gold ahead of Anastasia Nichita of Moldova, who settled for silver.

Hong Kexin of China took the other bronze medal in the event.

Taylor won the repechage match against Ecuador's Luisa Elizabeth Valverde Melendres earlier on Friday for a chance to fight for gold.
