Canada vs. Nigeria 10:30 p.m. EDT on Fox: Where else to watch the 2023 World Cup match

A night-time matchup ends the first day of action at the 2023 FIFA World Cup – at least for U.S. viewers.

When Canada meets Nigeria at 10:30 p.m. EDT/7:30 p.m. PDT, it will actually be early afternoon on Day 2 of the World Cup in Australia, which is co-hosting the tournament with New Zealand.

Canada and Nigeria are in Group B with Australia and Ireland. Even though home team Australia is favored to win the group, Canada is formidable, having won gold at the Tokyo Games, and it's considered a team to beat, too. Canada is ranked No. 7 in the World Cup field and No. 7 in the world – while Nigeria is ranked No. 23 in the field (and No. 40 in the world).
