It's bad news out of the Canada camp this afternoon as Inter man Tajon Buchanan has left training in an ambulance after suffering a 'significant lower-leg injury', according to TSN.

The winger has been a key member of Jesse Marsch's side that qualified for the quarter-finals out of Copa América Group B this week, and will square off with Venezuela on Friday.

As per the report, the injury occurred during a drill and resulted in the training session being cancelled.

Buchanan's Canada teammate, Alistair Johnston described mood in the camp as 'somber' after the event.
