Camron Hankai Commits To Bowling Green

Haliburton County Huskies defenseman Camron Hankai has committed to Bowling Green, it was reported earlier this week.

Hankai, a product of Simcoe, Ont., is in his first season with the Huskies, having collected 10 goals and 28 assists for 38 points in 42 games. Prior to joining the Huskies, Hankai spent a season with the Brantford 99ers.

Drafted by the Hamilton Bulldogs in the fourth round of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, Hankai played his minor hockey close by with the Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs.

Heading into 2025-26, Hankai could potentially make the jump to the OHL. As someone who makes things happen with the puck on his stick, he has proven to be one of the better young players in the OJHL this season and would be a solid addition to Brantford. His jump to the CHL would only allow him to grow more as a player to get him set to join the Falcons in 2026.
