Camavinga vs Modrić: Who will start for Real Madrid vs Atlético?
An insight into the plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid for their upcoming showdown with Atlético has Saturday been provided.
The first Madrid Derby of the season is of course set to play out in a little over 24 hours’ time.
As much will play out at the Wanda Metropolitano, when Diego Simeone’s Atlético act as hosts in a league meeting with neighbours Real.
In the buildup to the clash, much of the chatter when it comes to the latter has surrounded the plans of boss Carlo Ancelotti for his midfield setup.
Los Blancos have this week been boosted by the return to fitness of Eduardo Camavinga.
The Frenchman, sorely missed across the campaign to date amid his absence owing to a knee injury, ramped up his recovery over the last few days, included in Real’s travelling squad for Sunday’s derby.
If the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, though, then Camavinga looks unlikely to feature, at least from the off.
As per a report from Carrusel Deportivo, Real Madrid’s engine room tomorrow night will consist of the expected trio of Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Jude Bellingham, accompanied by captain Luka Modrić.
