Calvin Beard Commits To Air Force

Powell River Kings defenseman Calvin Beard has committed to the Air Force Academy, it was announced on Monday.

Born in Southborough, MA, Beard has 18 points (four goals, 14 assists) in 34 regular season games for the Kings. It's Beard's first season playing for Powell River.

Prior to joining the Kings, Beard played three seasons at the St. Mark's School in the USHS-Prep. He recorded 92 points (28 goals, 64 assists) in 82 games.
