'When Calls the Heart' Fans Can't Take the Show's Heart-Stopping Season 11 Preview

We're so close to the When Calls the Heart season 11 premiere, and Erin Krakow is here to deliver a surprise ahead of the big day!

As fans of the Hallmark drama prepare to tune in for the first episode of the new installment on April 7 at 9 p.m. ET, the actress and executive producer made an appearance on the show's Instagram page to share an exciting update about what fans can expect. The series' social team posted a sneak peek featuring Erin's character, Elizabeth and her friends Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Leland "Lee" Coulter (Kavan Smith) finding out what happened to Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) in the aftermath of the final moments of season 10.

"Hi Hearties!" Erin shared at the beginning of the clip uploaded on April 1. "Take a look at this special sneak peek. Enjoy!"

While viewers had their questions answered about what happened to one character, they couldn't contain their excitement upon seeing Elizabeth and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry)'s potential romance beginning to bloom.

"Oh what a beautiful start to season 11 ❤ Can’t wait for Nathan & Elizabeth’s romance …," one person declared in the comments. "Excuse me [while] I go cry 😭🥹," another penned. "Can’t wait for Nathan and Elizabeth love ❤️," a different follower added.

While details of what's to come in When Calls the Heart are being kept under wraps, Erin did tease to Entertainment Tonight how season 11 will highlight Elizabeth and Nathan's new dynamic after she broke off her engagement from Lucas in the previous season.

"It is a very gentle, respectful romance, and there's something very sweet about it," she shared with the outlet. "As the season is moving forward, we're building towards something that is hopefully going to be very loving and passionate and exciting for our viewers."
