Tulk's commitment is significant as he has another year of WHL eligibility. The 19-year-old is a 2005-born player and will turn 20 in January. Over two dozen WHLers have now committed to NCAA schools next season, including Winnipeg Jets prospect Connor Levis and Everett Silvertips' Tyler MacKenzie, who is tied with Tulk in points this season.
Tulk has spent the last four seasons with the Hitmen. In 227 games, he has 88 goals and 208 points. If Tulk plays the rest of the season in Calgary, he will become the 22nd player to play 250 games with the franchise and is projected to finish in the top ten for all-time points in Hitmen history.
