Calder Cup Champion Bryan Little Retires From the NHL
Bryan Little has announced his retirement from the NHL, signing a one-day contract with the Winnipeg Jets to make it official.
Little was selected 12th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers during the 2006 NHL draft, racking up 521 points in 843 career games , all with the Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets organization.

The 2004 OHL Rookie of The Year had a brief but memorable time the AHL, after appearing in two playoff games after his final junior season he played half the season and the playoffs in the 2007-08 season, winning the Calder Cup with the Chicago Wolves.
He recorded 25 points in 34 regular season AHL games that season and followed it up with eight goals and 13 points in 24 playoff games to help bring home the title.
Bryan Little will sign a one-day contract with the team to officially retire from the NHL as a member of the Winnipeg Jets.

Little won the 2007 World Junior Championship gold medal with Team Canada.
With his retirement Blake Wheeler, Evander Kane, and Zach Bogosian are the only remaining NHL players who have played for the Atlanta Thrashers.
