Caitlin Clark made history by becoming the first female athlete to have her own collection with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. The company will build a collection around her, similar to what they did with Michael Jordan in the 1980s.
Details of the deal have not been disclosed by the company.
“Wilson has been with me across some of the most pivotal moments in my career so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue driving basketball forward alongside them,” Clark said in a press release regarding the deal. “It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection, and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes.”
The Wilson website has already released the first Clark collection, which is a limited edition of gold-colored basketballs featuring a drawing of Clark with her signature for $49.95.
