As Caitlin Clark nears scoring record, how to watch Iowa vs. Penn State

College basketball's main attraction is once again center stage as Iowa superstar guard Caitlin Clark inches closer to breaking the NCAA all-time scoring record for women.

The second-ranked Hawkeyes (21-2, 10-1 Big Ten) will entertain Penn State on Thursday night as Clark, who has 51 games of scoring 30 or more points in her career, is 66 points from breaking the all-time scoring record in women's college basketball, set by Washington's Kelsey Plum in 2017.

Clark, the Big Ten’s all-time leader in points and assists, leads the nation in points per game (32.4), assists per game (7.9) and 3-point field goals made (122).

The Nittany Lions have won six of their past seven games this season, but they have lost each of their last eight meetings with Iowa. The Hawkeyes have won three in a row since losing 100-92 to Ohio State on Jan 21.

Caitlin Clark could return for a fifth season with the Hawkeyes, thanks to an extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA for COVID-19.
